Fraser Brown MacKenna
Fraser Brown MacKenna Architects is a design-led practice creating successful places to live, work and learn. Our work is not influenced by fad or fashion – we design buildings and spaces that are human in scale and contextual in response; places that are sustainable in the long term and responsive to changing patterns of activity. Most of our completed schemes have originated from architectural competitions and include an award winning £14m mixed tenure development in Edinburgh, a number of innovative workspaces for IBM and the refurbishment of the Grade I Listed Slade School of Fine Art. Founded in 1991, we are respected by our partners for our proactive ethos and hands-on approach to delivering successful projects and have completed schemes ranging in size from £1m to £35m. We are currently working on a range of exciting projects, including a new school and college in Southend, a mixed-use development in Lewisham, an office development in Hampshire and the first phase of a sustainable urban extension to Basingstoke.
