The site occupies a prominent corner on Putney Bridge Road close to the river Thames. The proposals include provision of office accommodation on the ground and first floor and residential apartments on the upper levels. Two new houses make the transition from the small scale terrace housing on the secondary road to the larger scale apartment block on the primary road. At the rear the develpment cascades in a series of terraces down to the rear gardens of the houses and adjoining properties. Significant community consultation took place on this project to create a bold architectural solution that responds positively to the local context.
