We became involved in the Lightbox development after the developer client had received planning approval for the first phase, designed by another architect. We redesigned and altered elements of the original scheme in close collaboration with the client including the internal flat layouts. We were then commissioned to design the second and third phases of the development. Phase one involved three different repeat house types accessed via open decks connected to a central stair and lift core.
