The office was established by fully qualified architects who have specialised in sustainable design strategies and are keen to assist practices interested in achieving a high environmental design standard but lack specialist knowledge in the area. The office gives CPD lectures to practices and has delivered environmental design seminars in the USA on behalf of the British Consulate. The director of the consultancy is Senior Lecturer of Environmental Architecture of the Department of Architecture & Spatial Design in London Metropolitan University.

The consultancy also undertakes Post Occupancy Evaluation studies which assist to expand awareness of successful design strategies. This analysis process also allows identification of less successful areas of contemporary architectural projects - information which is used to re-evaluate techniques for future implementation and adaptation.
