The housing development is located in the city centre of Hamburg on a site, historically used as army barracks by the Prussian army. The remaining buildings form the centre of the project. 65 houses form a "white estate" surrounding and contrasting the existing. Two different types of houses have been developed.

The loft space will be build as shell and core and can be fitted out in the future by the individual tenants. With a construction budget of only 85,000 pound per house, the development is aimed for young families and first time buyers.
