A contemporary single storey “Eco-House” in the De Beauvoir conservation area. An internal courtyard, glass doors, roof-lights and clere-storey windows provide well lit, naturally heated and ventilated internal spaces. The courtyard is lined with timber framed (FSC approved) triple glazed folding doors. Photovoltaic cells provide electricity, whilst toilet flushes and washing machine are run on an underground water-harvesting tank.
